Doha – Mubasher: Oman’s National Gas Company signed on Thursday a joint venture agreement with Qatar’s Petroserv Limited to execute a gas station project in Lusail city, Doha, the company said Sunday.

The Omani company added that the joint venture agreement is subject to the final approval of the city developer Lusail Real Estate Development Company, which is expected to be issued soon.

Lusail city covers an area of more than 38 square kilometers distributed on four man-made islands for the development project that contains different sizes of houses and office buildings, as well as 22 hotels.

Petroserv was earlier assigned by Lusail to develop the gas network in the city.
